Queer & D

Session 4

Picking up after a short break, the group starts to bring the bandit that they captured back around for his unconscious state. They discover that he was taken in by the bandits after his camp was raided by them and, after a series of bad decisions, ended up here. Leaf joked that they should kill him, which triggered T’ix who instead sent him back off to the city to find a contact River gave him, Kedar.

They set off again, and without encountering anything, settled down for the night for a long rest under the stars only to be awoken by an early morning thunderstorm. They continued on until they reached the cave entrance. Jumping off the Cart, River and Leaf go off to investigate only to receive a welcome in the form of an arrow heading Rivers way. The remainder of the group joined and they quickly dispatched the Goblins keeping guard at the cave entrance. They crossed an old rickety bridge with Taurin being the only one who had any difficulty.

The next cave had two more guards, one of whom tried to run down a hallway, but was stopped by T’ix and Taurin while River managed to find three piano wires and took them to turn into garottes. They found a key on one of the guards and moved on to the next chamber where they found the Goblin King and Queen (Mother). After dispatching the King, they questioned the Queen and discovered that the flowers were to be transported to a crime syndicate in Arkmerry. River was not comfortable with this revelation and left the room after discovering a map on a table outlining Arkmerry. The rest of the group looted, finding Harry’s flowers as well as 1000gp.

River went back to the cavern with the piano and went downstairs to the bedroom and looted it before destroying it, finding a golden crown like tiara (which reminded her of the Goblin Queen at The Pot of Gold Tavern), and a painting of the King, Mother, and a young  goblin dressed in pink. 

They carried the flowers out across the bridge to the cart and set off to return them to Harry’s.
