Session 10

Finishing off their preparations at the singing dragon and weapons pristine, the group head back to the barracks to meet Chief Guardsman Tumal for their stakeout and to finish what they started.  On their Journey, the group discuss what name they would like their adventuring party to be known by. Names such as ‘The Pussy Bandits’ and ‘Chromatic Spectrum’ (Chrome spec for short) are put out there, but none seem right before settling on ‘The Rainbow Posse’. This takes them their whole journey to see tomorrow to decide on. On arrival, he grabs a large Axe from the wall and heads out with the group.

When they arrive at The Smoke Blade’s home it is quiet and the group splits up to hide into alleys.  The Smoke Blade, whose real name is Paris, shows up and Tumal leaves the group and knocks on her door shouting ‘Halt!’ The group then joins in the fray and T’ix manages to subdue Paris just as she smashes a glass bottle on the ground which fills the room with blue smoke.  They instantly stabilize her and heal her for questioning.  After being persuaded, she reveals that she was hired by Aimon Asta, lady Asta’s younger nephew, as he wanted the family money and was jealous that his brother was betrothed to the girl he had a crush on. Tumal takes her back to the barracks for her story to be verified and a Zone of Truth.

After a brief discussion, the group follows him back to the buttocks to find him filling out paperwork in his immaculately organized office. After seeing T’ix turn into their Divergent Persona of the dwarf healer, Tumal is weary and somewhat scared of T’ix.  He asks them what name he should put on his report to return. The group confirmed that their adventuring party is called ‘The Rainbow Posse’.  After having The Smoke Blade’s story verified by a Zone of Truth, Tumal pays each of them 200GP (1000GP total)  but none of any of the reward money on the flyer from Lady Asta herself.

The group head off to report to Raia, only to be stopped at the door due to its late hour.  The guards tell them that she will not be available that night but they press on and pull Raia from her bed where she is with her wife.  After telling her their report and handing over a sealed letter from the chief Guardsman, Raia fires Vander and gives the group their spoils.  She then heads back to her wife waiting in bed and where she’s the group a ‘Happy Ahdar Day’.
