Session 11

Picking up outside of Raia’s warehouse, the group head back to ‘The Singing Dragon’ for the night where it is in full swing. It is so busy that there is a bouncer outside and a queue waiting to get in. Everyone except for Mika quickly gets changed and heads downstairs for a night of drinking, dancing, and flirting. Leaf manages to gain a companion for the evening to do nothing other than cuddle.

At breakfast the following morning, Mika decides to stay behind while the group checks out the worship service and festivities of Ahdar Day. The service itself is just outside of the city and the whole Royal Family are in attendance. The Queen announces at this service that Princess Luisa, now that she is of age, will be going on a Royal Tour along The King’s Road accompanied by her sibling, Ser Emmyth Sytris. Balloons of colour are released by Druids and the parade starts back into the city, which is now bursting at its seams. The parade continues on past the Castle with the Royal Family watching from the balcony.

Getting food, the group move on to the festivities. They partake in a ‘Wheel of Fortune’ (winning a few prizes in the process), ‘Dunk-a-Guard’ (T’ix taking point to dunk Chief Guardsman Tumal in 9 out of their 10 tries) and they get caricatures. They also compete in a lottery and enter a stall which appears to be selling pies. On entry there is a red Tiefling cleaning their nails with a dagger. They sell the group a questionable looking Potion of Strength, Bluewood Wine, and a brown pouch which promises an interesting night out.

Before retiring to The Singing Dragon, Leaf and T’ix try some of the Bluewood Wine. It is extremely strong and the pair are instantly drunk with Leaf throwing up on a man who luckily (or unluckily for him) doesn’t notice. They then stop by a stall with a Kenku selling nuts and berries.

River gets bored and looks for a target to steal from and finds a family with two young children running around. She thinks better of it, and it is lucky for the whole group that she does as one of the figures is that of Ser Emmyth Sytris.
