Session 25

The group continue shopping with River and Leaf going to the temple quickly for River to leave another letter and pickpocket a gentleman on the way back to meet the group.

They go from ‘Summoned Goods’ to ‘The Mended Blade’ where they buy a great sword, a long sword, a breastplate, a short sword and a pair of daggers. Secret goes outside and disguises themselves as a guard and persuades the owners, Gileus and Grimm, to charge it to the Guards Quarters, and they head back to the Castle with Secret asking for a few moments before they head through the Teleportation Circle.

Secret quickly sneaks through the Castle to the Queen’s quarters, unaware that River is following behind. The Queen and Secret have a brief discussion where it is revealed that the reason Secret left River behind was that the Queen pulled the group away on a secret mission with River not being allowed to journey with them. The queen hopes that bringing them back together will start to repair the damage that she caused. River and Secret have a brief discussion after River reveals herself and they rejoin the group to use the circle to teleport to Eahlens.

They immediately head to Pandora’s Box where Pandora enters full-on ‘protect’ mode and hands over all of the potions that he has to keep T’ix safe after hearing about the attack. Metz is slightly put out with being kept out of the loop. The group – minus T’ix- head to ‘The Singing Dragon’ where they decide that it is time to dye River’s fur black.

It is a MESS! Yes, River’s fur is dyed black, but so are Mika’s hands as well as the entire bathroom in the tavern. Lady GoGoLiath is playing in the bar downstairs with Secret, Leaf, and Taurin enjoying the show. Metz appears at some point in the show and sits alone with a drink. The group check on them and Metz takes a room upstairs for the evening.

The following morning, after breakfast, they head to Pandora’s Box to pick up T’ix before heading out of the city on their new horse and cart.
