Session 28

After taking watches through the night, the party agree that they will investigate the cave behind the spiders for a couple of hours and push off around lunch time at the latest.

They choose  to go in without any light. River takes the lead with Secret closely behind. However it is not a normal cave with the walls inscribed with runes of an arcane nature.

They find multiple bodies of slain ‘adventurers’, but they bear the insignia of Lady Reylana. After this, River becomes more reckless. They find the body of a dead dragon of some sort and discover an antechamber with a broken statue, another dragon skeleton, an alter that has been broken in two as well as a disfigured body clothed in a red cloak. River takes the clothes off some bodies, thinking they may be useful, and they confront River over her carelessness. She shuts down and they try to investigate running water in the cave on the way out and find out it is a small waterfall with nothing but water on the bottom.

Pilling back into the cart, River and the group have a discussion where River agrees to be more careful in the future. They leave The Cursed Pinnacle behind and bed down for the night.
