Session 30

The following day the party decides to split up after breakfast, which has River missing as she has been busy working on some new armor for herself. Mika decides to stay behind while Taurin and Leaf go to the blacksmiths and Secret and T’ix head to Lady Reylana’s compound to get some answers and scout before lunch.

Taurin, Leaf and River (who decided to join the ‘safer’ group) head to George’s Forge, an Aarakocran Blacksmith, and hire it for 2 hours so that Taurin can make some adornments for his chain mail to make it ‘flashy’ for the fete, and Leaf decides to temper her sword. Two hours (and many innuendos later), they finish up with River sitting outside in the main storefront the entire time.

T’ix and Secret head to Lady Reylana’s compound to ask when they will be able to access, look for a rehearsal space, and inquire about weapons to be used as part of an act. They learn that access will be granted the night before, to check the docks for empty warehouses to rehearse, and that weapons will need to be checked and authorized.

They go for a walk around the edges of the compound and discover that some trees overhand one wall and a dried up storm gate before heading back for lunch and to present their findings.

The others decide to check out ‘The Pure Potions Company’ before rejoining and they meet the owner Morweena, a Fire Genasi, who instantly captures Taurin’s heart. River buys two potions before they head back to the Inn.
